ACCOMPLISHMENT

Laiki Ebanking

Position as a Team lead developer to design, develop and deploy a multi-country, multi-product .Net web solution for banking transactions.

Biztalk Integration

Working on the Biztalk middleware technology to make an efficient B2B communication between Laiki and other Organization. Technologies used were asp.net, vb.net, xml, message queues, agents, windows services. We delivered an automating solution that was fully scalable, and performance oriented. We also implemented a browser base monitor mechanism of the transactions.

SMS Notification

Stand alone application daemon capable of triggering SMS notification rules. Use J2EE api and db2 as backend technology. Use observer design pattern for rules triggering. The rules were configurable and personalize. It’s object orientation design and purpose was to be a general purpose solution. It can be easily adapt to a different SMS areas.

Laiki WebTV

Migrating the current WAP application to a webTV application. Use the latest J2EE technologies. Designed and implemented with the proposed IBM design patterns.

Ezwatch

Implemented entire with the Applet Technology(awt visual classes). Full secure using Verisign code signing. Browser support from early versions of Internet Explorer and Netscape till the latest. The purpose of the product was to Monitor the Stock Exchange meeting developments in real-time. Watch your favorite securities prices and graphs move during the meeting ... without being there!

Search Engine

For the purpose of my Master thesis we developed a fully functional search engine base entirely on the IR techniques.

MARS

A research project which addresses the information retrieval and database management challenges in content-based multimedia retrieval.

Promitheas

E-banking application using the Enterpise edition of Java. Primarily involved in the front-end development which incorporate Applet technology. The communication with the host was made using the Brokat Twister application, and the scripts were developed in TCL

Meduse

Created an Automated weather prediction system in a small network of AIX workstations. Used MPI, shell scripts and C as programming language.

Planned and evaluated course material, taught labs, graded papers, tutored students, designed and implemented WWW sites, and conducted research to co-author publications, in the areas of Databases(MARS).
